Overview
The Eastern Suburbs generally refers to the geographical region to the east of Sydney City. The majority of the region is along the coastline, including Australia's most famous beach, Bondi.

With the eastern suburbs so close to the beach and the city, this region will always be hot property. Ocean views increase the price of real estate phenomenally, however most housing within the area is in the upper region of Sydney property prices, mostly notably; Tamarama, Bronte, Coogee and Bondi Beach.
Lifestyle
Bondi is the most famous suburb and beach in the eastern suburbs, it is also the centre of most of the activity. Surfing, dining out at one of the many restaurants, or simply relaxing with a latte are all common sites around Bondi and Coogee, and indeed the eastern suburbs in general.
